SOUNDTRACKS FOREVER !! 2º part.

“The Dream of Olwen” es una de las piezas más bellas que se han escrito para un Film …compuesta por “Charles Williams” para la pelicula “While I Live”… La versión de “Ron Goodwin” es tan extraordinaria como las imágenes creadas por dos grandes genios de la Imagen de mi pais…”Philcold y JesusCM”……

“The Dream of Olwen”is one of the most beautiful pieces ever written for a film composed … “Charles Williams” for the film “While I Live” … The version of “Ron Goodwin is as good as the images created by two geniuses of the image of my country …” Philcold and JesusCM”

El genio de Jack Nitzsche”….así se llamó uno de sus múltiples discos…..La carrera de este gran compositor comienza al lado de uno de los más afamados músicos de la década de los 50′s y 60′s Philp Spector….pasando por artistas de la talla de Neil Young…Glen Campbell…Sonny Bono…y un largo etc… imposible de enumerar….Pero destacaría los arreglos de “Elusive Butterfly” de Bob Lind… uno de los temas básicos y más bello de los años 60′s..
En los 70 se sintió inclinado hacia las Bandas Sonoras….y la música de sus films… son de una grandiosidad espectacular…tan grandiosas como son las imágenes de ” Philcold ” que habitualmente acompañan algunos de mis videos- clips en “You Tube”…….

The career of this great composer begins beside one of the most famous musicians of the late 50′s and 60′s Philp Spector …. through the likes of Neil Young … Glen Campbell … … Sonny Bono and many more … impossible to list …. But highlight the arrangements of “Elusive Butterfly” by Bob Lind … one of the basic issues and most beautiful of the 60′s ..
In 70 he was inclined towards Soundtracks …. and the music of his films … are spectacular grandeur … so great as are the images of “Philcold” that usually accompany some of my video clips on “You Tube”….

Bernard Herrmann compuso La Banda sonora en el año 1941, para una Obra Maestra de la cinematográfia mundial… “Citizen Kane”…Como es costumbre en mis videos procuro unir la música con grandes creadores de mi pais….En este caso se trata de “Abel Cuevas”…sus Dibujos y Posters…son de una originalidad grandiosa….¡¡ Que disfruteis con ellos !!

Bernard Herrmann composed the Soundtrack in 1941, for a Masterpiece of world cinema … “Citizen Kane” … As usual in my videos I try to connect the music with great artists of my country …. In this case it’s “Abel Cuevas” … his Drawings and Posters … are a great originality …. you enjoy them !!!!

Vuelvo con otro tema de Delerue….Acompañado por las insuperables imágenes de Philcold…Las Creaciones de este gran Autor Español …son tan excelentes y tan llenas de inspiración …que para mi son un autentico placer unirlas a la música de Georges Delerue…

Si tuviera que elegir entre los diez “Films” que más me han impactado en mi vida…. sin lugar a dudas “Metrópolis” está entre ellos…Esta es una de las Grandes Obras Maestras del cine..dirigida por Fritz Lang en el año 1927….¡¡causo conmoción!!……¡¡ Y no era para menos!! …..Es de una grandeza tan extraordinaria…..Que sobra en estos momentos todo tipo de comentarios…
La Banda Sonora compuesta por Gottfried Huppertz…. alcanza límites insospechados de creatividad y de riqueza musical..todos ellos llenos de una originalidad inpensable en aquellos momentos…Por esa razón he fundido tres temas de la película :  “Death Descends”…”Josaphat Report” y ” End Titles (Restoration)”…..

If I had to choose between the ten “Films” have impacted me most in my life …. undoubtedly “Metrópolis” is among them … This is one of the great masterpieces of cinema .. directed by Fritz Lang in 1927 …caused shock !!……¡ And with good reason! ….. Estoy intentando en mi canal de “You tube” y a la vez en mi  “Blog” añadir los mejores compositores de la historia del cine….En este caso es Alfred Newman….Del tema “The Enchanted Sea”.. Perteneciente al film “Ports of Paradise” he querido añadir la versión que hicieran “The Islanders” en el comienzo de los 60′s……Por considerarla una excelente versión……… Con ellos vamos a dar un paseo por algunas de la películas… para las  que “Alfred Newman” compuso su Banda Sonora…
