GOD HELP THE GIRL ♫ SOUNDTRACK ♫ BANDA SONORA
Uno de mis grupos favoritos de los 80’s 90’s son sin duda Belle and Sebastian , Stuart Murdoch, el cantante del conjunto, se lanza al mundo del cine con su debut «God help the girl» cuya dirección y guión han corrido por cuenta propia.
Este musical indie ha sido producido por Barry Mendel quien produjo también The Royal Tenenbaums y Rushmore, ambas cintas dirigidas por Wes Anderson.
Es una historia de jóvenes actuales … que todavía no he visto…( Hoy se ha estrenado en mi país ) …pero si he tenido el inmenso placer de escuchar toda su Banda Sonora.. Realmente me ha encantado… tiene ciertas reminiscencias de los años 60’s… que yo tanto amo.

One of my favorite bands of the 80’s 90’s are certainly Belle and Sebastian, Stuart Murdoch, the singer of the group, launches the film world with his debut «God help the girl» whose direction and screenplay have run on their own.
This indie musical was produced by Barry Mendel who also produced The Royal Tenenbaums and Rushmore, both films directed by Wes Anderson.
It is a story of young people today … I have not yet seen … (Today has been released in my country) … but if I had the immense pleasure of hearing all his soundtrack .. He really loved me .. . has some reminiscences of the 60’s … I love so much.

Como compositor podemos recordar «Silhouettes» (co-written with Frank Slay); «Big Girls Don’t Cry», «Walk Like a Man», «Rag Doll», «Silence Is Golden», «The Sun Ain’t Gonna Shine (Anymore)», «Can’t Take My Eyes Off You» and «Bye, Bye, Baby» (all co-written with Gaudio); «Let’s Hang On!» (wriiten with Sandy Linzer and Denny Randell); and «My Eyes Adored You»..
A lo largo de su dilatada carrera musical estuvo al lado de grandes grupos y cantantes como The Rays, Diane Renay, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, Freddy Cannon, Lesley Gore, Oliver, Michael Jackson, Bobby Darin, Roberta Flack, Peabo Bryson, Patti LaBelle, y por supuesto con The Bob Crewe Generation.
Tuvo grandes incursiones en el mundo del cine.. como compositor de Bandas Sonoras..Todos recordamos » Barbarella».. La banda sonora de la película de culto cuenta 
con la voz de Crewe y el grupo La Glitterhouse …En 1969, Crewe colaboró con el cantante conocido como Oliver , incluyendo la producción de » Jean «, una canción escrita por el poeta de Rod McKuen que sirvió como tema para la película Los mejores años de Miss Brodie..
Pero su papel más relevante son la producciones y composiciones para Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons…

He had great inroads into the world of film composer ..Soundtracks….Alls remember «Barbarella» .. The soundtrack to the cult film features the voice of Crewe and The Glitterhouse group … In 1969, Crewe collaborated with the singer known as Oliver, including the production of «Jean», written by poet Rod McKuen that served as the theme song for the film the Prime of Miss Jean Brodie ..
But his most important role is the production and compositions for Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons …

Ahora bien…para los que amamos profundamente a Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons… la Banda Sonora no me convence.. Es inimitable la voz de Frankie…Y es el único pero que pongo a la película…
Se deja ver bien… muy bien… y con sorpresas en la vida de este excelente grupo que me lleva acompañando varias decádas…
Hace algunos meses … cuando se estreno en todo el mundo subí un video con algunos de los temas más representativos de este excelente grupo de New Jersey… sin desmerecer la Banda Sonora… Los Originales son Los Originales ..Como Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons… solo hay unos… y son ellos mismos…. lo demás son puras imitaciones…
