JAMES HORNER ● IN MEMORIAM
Esta semana comenzó muy mal.. Tuvimos la noticia inesperada de la muerte de James Horner…para muchos de nosotros se convirtío en una auténtica tragedia…. perdíamos a un extraordinario compositor y con él se nos iban momento mágicos de nuestras vidas… en mi memoria y en mi corazón están grandes trabajos que hizo durante toda su vida musical…. pero quizás los que más emoción provocaron en mi fueron estos que comparto en mi canal…
¡¡ Siempre tendremos tú musica mi admirado compositor…pero esto no sirve de consuelo !!
Donde quiera que estés …. descansa en paz…
This week started badly .. We had the unexpected news of the death of James Horner … for many of us became a tragedy …. we lost an extraordinary composer and with him we were going magical moment of our lives … in my memory and my heart are great works he did throughout his musical life …. but perhaps the most emotion provoked in me were the ones that I share on my channel …
You will always have my admired composer music … but this is cold comfort !!

El compositor James Horner, ganador de dos premios Oscar por la banda sonora de Titanic (1997), falleció ayer lunes 22 en un accidente de avioneta en Santa Bárbara, California. Tenía 61 años.
James Roy Horner (Los Ángeles, 14 de agosto de 1953-Santa Bárbara, 22 de junio de 2015) fue un compositor y director de orquesta estadounidense, dedicado principalmente a componer bandas sonoras para películas, trabajando en este campo durante más de 30 años….Ha sido nominado a los Premios Óscar en el apartado a la Mejor Banda Sonora en ocho ocasiones: Aliens, el regreso (1986), Campo de sueños (1989), Braveheart (1995), Apolo 13 (1995), Titanic (1997), A Beautiful Mind (2001), Casa de arena y niebla (2003), Avatar (2009), consiguiéndolo doblemente con Titanic tanto en el apartado a la mejor música como a la mejor canción.

Giacchino es un compositor de Bandas Sonoras ganador de numerosos premios, conocido en sus inicios (primera mitad de la década de 2000 a 2010) por las partituras de la galardonada serie de videojuegos ambientados en la Segunda Guerra Mundial: Medal of Honor, entre otros; en especial sus tres primeras versiones, Underground, Allied Assault y Frontline.
