Hace pocas semanas daban el Oscar a la película «Parasitos» hasta hace dos días no la pude ver ni escuchar su Banda Sonora…Pero aunque el film es toda una sorpresa..lo que me ha parecido una auténtica revelación ha sido su música…hacía tiempo que una Banda Sonora no me impresionaba tanto…El compositor es Jung Jae Il …Un compositor Coreano .
Su trabajo en el cine comenzó ya en 1997 cuando Jung Jae Il tenía solo 15 años. Participó en la música de Bad Movie…Junto con una gran cantidad de colaboraciones en música de cine a lo largo de los años, algunas de las películas más reconocidas internacionalmente en las que trabajó fueron Romance of They Own (늑대 의 유혹, 2004), Marine Boy (마린 보이, 2009) y Haemoo (해무, 2014) .
Mi opinión y espero no equivocarme estamos ante un genio..que en años venideros nos puede dar grandes sorpresas !!
A few weeks ago they gave the Oscar to the movie «Parasitos» until two days ago I could not see or hear his Soundtrack … But although the film is a surprise … what I think is a real revelation has been his music … a long time since a Soundtrack impressed me so much … The composer is Jung Jae Il … A Korean composer.
His work in the cinema began already in 1997 when Jung Jae Il was only 15 years old. Un día como hoy 26 de mayo de 1886 ,en Lituania, nacía Asa Yoelson… más conocido por Al Jolson… fue un cantante, actor, guionista y director de música estadounidense de origen lituano… En el año 1927 tuvo una actuación cinematográfica en The Jazz Singer (El cantante de jazz) cuya trama era muy parecida a su vida real, como hijo de un rabino. Fue la primera película sonora, de allí lo catapultó definitivamente a la fama, lo cual luego interpretaría la versión original en teatro con éxitos rotundos en todo el país y en Europa. Su famosa frase «Un momento, un momento, aún no has escuchado nada!» quedó en los anales de la Historia del Cine… Esta película dirigida por Alan Crosland marcó el advenimiento del cine sonoro. Antón García Abril (Teruel, 19 de mayo de 1933) es un compositor y músico español, autor de bandas sonoras para películas y series de televisión.
Su obra es tan extensa que es imposible hacer una recopilación en un solo video…valga este pequeño resumen de una pequeña parte de su obra..
Ha compuesto obras orquestales, música de cámara y obras vocales. Es importante reseñar su faceta como autor de música para cine y series de televisión como El hombre y la tierra de Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, Los camioneros, Sor Citroën,Fortunata y Jacinta, Anillos de oro, Segunda enseñanza, Brigada Central, Ramón y Cajal, La ciudad no es para mí, Compuesta y sin novio y Requiem por Granada.
En el año 1966 realizó la banda sonora de la película Texas, adiós, un spaghetti western protagonizado por Franco Nero. En el año 1969 trabajó junto al cineasta madrileño Rafael Romero Marchent en la banda sonora de la película Manos torpes, otro spaghetti western.
Dentro de la música para voz y piano destacan sus canciones llevadas al disco de forma magistral por Ainhoa Arteta.
Compuso el himno de Aragón por encargo de las Cortes de Aragón, y que es actualmente el himno oficial de Aragón desde 1989.

Título original: The Shape Of Water se estrenará en España… 16/02/2018 con guión y dirección de Guillermo Del Toro…Se que muchos la habeís visto… pero personalmente me gusta ver el cine en salas…para mi tiene siempre un encanto especial que se pierde cuando se ve en casa…Así que me toca esperar… y pienso que esta espera merece la pena…

Leonard Rosenman (n. Nueva York, 7 de septiembre de 1924 – m. Los Ángeles, 4 de marzo de 2008) fue un compositor estadounidense conocido principalmente por ser el autor de la partitura de numerosas bandas sonoras cinematográficas.
Fue alumno de Arnold Schönberg, Roger Sessions y Luigi Dallapiccola. En sus inicios trabajó como profesor de piano y de música de cámara. En 1955, por recomendación de James Dean que era uno de sus alumnos, hizo su primera colaboración para el cine, la banda sonora de la película Al este del edén, que obtuvo un gran éxito.
A partir de entonces, escribió la música de gran número de películas y consiguió dos Oscar por la mejor banda sonora adaptada, Barry Lyndon (1975) y Esta tierra es mi tierra (1976). Sin embargo, nunca obtuvo el Oscar a la mejor banda sonora original, aunque fue candidato por Los mejores años de mi vida en 1983 y Star Trek IV: misión: salvar la Tierra en 1986.
Una de sus obras menos conocidas.. es la partitura que compuso para Alejandro El Grande..que es la comparto en mi tributo a este gran genio de la música..
Como compositor vanguardista, escribió música dodecafónica, sin duda bajo la influencia de Schönberg, y practicó la atonalidad. Ejemplo de ello es la música de Viaje alucinante, de Richard Fleischer (1966).
Otra de sus mejores obras fue la banda sonora de la versión animada de El Señor de los Anillos, dirigida en 1978 por Ralph Bakshi.
Aunque su fama se debe a la música cinematográfica, fue también compositor de música clásica. En esta faceta una de sus obras más conocidas es el Concierto para violín número 2, estrenado en 1977 en el Carnegie Hall.
Leonard Rosenman (born September 7, 1924 – March 4, 2008) was a American composer known primarily for the score of numerous motion picture soundtracks.
He was a student of Arnold Schönberg, Roger Sessions and Luigi Dallapiccola. In his beginnings he worked as a teacher of piano and chamber music. In 1955, on the recommendation of James Dean, who was one of his students, he made his first film collaboration, the soundtrack to the film East of Eden, which was a great success.
From then on, he wrote music for a number of films and won two Academy Awards for best adapted soundtrack, Barry Lyndon (1975) and This Land Is My Land (1976). However, he never got the Oscar for the best original soundtrack, although he was a nominee for The Best Years of My Life in 1983 and Star Trek IV: Mission: Saving Earth in 1986.
One of his lesser known works .. is the score he composed for Alejandro El Grande .. which is the one I share in my tribute to this great genius of music ..
As an avant-garde composer, he wrote twelve-tone music, undoubtedly under the influence of Schönberg, and practiced atonality. An example of this is Richard Fleischer’s (1966) music of Awesome Journey.
Another of his best works was the soundtrack of the animated version of The Lord of the Rings, directed in 1978 by Ralph Bakshi.
Although his fame is due to cinematographic music, he was also a composer of classical music. In this facet one of his best known works is Concert for violin number 2, released in 1977 at Carnegie Hall.

Fue conocido como mano derecha del productor Phil Spector durante la década de 1950, y posteriormente trabajó como músico y productor para grupos y artistas como Neil Young y The Rolling Stones .. El año pasado hice un video de esta época ..pero hoy quería rendir tributo a las excelentes Bandas Sonoras que nos dejó … como compositor de música cinematográfica … obtuvo un Óscar a la mejor canción original en 1983 como compositor de «Up Where We Belong», del largometraje An Officer and a Gentleman…Quizás su nombre no es popular entre las nuevas generaciones… pero nos encontramos ante uno de los compositores más especiales que hemos tenido tanto fuera como dentro de la pantalla…
