La Banda Sonora fue compuesta por Rachel Portman, (Haslemere, 11 de diciembre de 1960), es una compositora británica, conocida principalmente por su trabajo en cine. Fue la primera mujer en ganar un premio Óscar en la categoría «Mejor banda sonora» (por Emma en 1996).

This year I welcome the autumn with Nicholas Nickleby’s Soundtrack … it’s a 2002 American-British film written and directed by Douglas McGrath. The script is based on The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens, which was published by installments between March 1838 and September 1839.
The Soundtrack was composed by Rachel Portman, (Haslemere, December 11, 1960), is a British composer, known mainly for her work in film. She was the first woman to win an Oscar in the category «Best Soundtrack» (for Emma in 1996).
